If you have a knee problem and you would like to make an appointment, take the first step on the road to recovery by filling in our form.

A written referral from a general practitioner is normally required in order to make an appointment with Mr McNicholas. If you are self funding a GP referral is not required. Your first point of contact to discuss your knee problems should be your GP. This web site provides additional information which your GP may not have, but does not replace the service the GP provides.

Mike McNicholas is recognised by all the major healthcare insurance companies.

Increasingly, patients without private medical insurance are opting to fund their own medical treatment in the private sector.

Following an initial consultation and subsequent investigations, a diagnosis will be made and an individual management plan formulated for each patient.

Based upon this individualised assessment a fixed surgeon’s fee for any surgical treatment will be provided to you.
